Why you need both

Removing mould from canvas also removes its water repellency. The treatment that lifts staining out of the weave strips the proofing along with it, so canvas that shed rain perfectly well before you cleaned it can leak afterwards. That's not a fault in the product — it's what thorough cleaning does to canvas.

What you get

Doing the job properly
- Set up in the shade on a day with enough dry weather ahead of you to finish. Direct sun makes the mould treatment dry out before it's finished working.
- Patch test first. A small colourfast test in a hidden area — this is a chemical product.
- Spray the Mould Remover onto dry canvas, liberally and from close range. A pump-up garden sprayer works best. No scrubbing — scrubbing damages canvas fibres and isn't necessary.
- Wait 15–20 minutes and watch the mould disappear. Repeat if any remains.
- Rinse thoroughly before the product dries, to wash out any residual chemical.
- Let the canvas dry completely. Not nearly dry — completely. Waterproofer applied over damp canvas won't bond properly.
- Brush on the Waterproofer, working evenly across the outside surface. 4L covers a standard camper trailer.
- Let it cure fully before packing away or exposing it to rain.
The most common mistake is rushing step 6. The second most common is skipping steps 7 and 8 entirely, then being surprised when the canvas leaks.
Also safe on caravan covers
Both products are formulated for canvas, but both are safe on caravan cover fabric. Follow the usage instructions and test a small, hidden area first before treating the whole cover.

To use, follow these instructions (full instructions on bottle):
Canvas Magic Mould Remover is delivered in a concentrate version & NO scrubbing is required.
You will receive a 4L container that makes up to 10L of product.
Make sure the area being treated is well ventilated.
- Spray liberally onto the dry canvas mould with a pump-up weed sprayer from close range
- wait 15-20 minutes for the mould to disappear
- repeat process until all mould is gone.
- after the mould has vanished, but before the product dries, rinse down with water to wash any residual chemical out, and let your canvas dry thoroughly
- once dry, you will need to re-waterproof your canvas.
As a precautionary measure, always do a small colourfast patch test in a hidden area to confirm there will be no loss of colour, as Canvas Magic Mould Remover is a chemical product.
10L will cover a whole camper trailer (one side).

To use, follow these instructions:
Consider protecting any metal before applying as Canvas Magic Waterproofer may cause 'streaking' on metal surfaces which will then need washing off;
Canvas Magic Waterproofer may be applied using a pump-spray bottle, or a brush or sponge. Once coated use a paint brush to brush into the fabric.
Wait until fully dry.
Congratulations! Your fabric is now waterproof!
Recommended for use immediately after using 'Canvas Magic Mould Remover'.
