✅ Refund Policy – Caravan Cover Shop
Note: The use of the word ‘Caravan’ in this Refund Policy is interchangeable with the words ‘Hybrid’, ‘Pop Top’, ‘Camper Trailer’, ‘Motorhome’, ‘Camper’, ‘RV’ and other unnamed vehicle names which fall under the ‘recreational vehicle’ category.
At Caravan Cover Shop we take pride in doing everything we can to ensure you find the right cover for your vehicle, and we stand by any cover size recommendations we make.
We also respect your right to a refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
This Refund Policy aims to clearly outline where refunds are either offered or declined. We promise at all times to maintain your rights and fulfill our legal obligations.
1. When Refunds Are Available
Refunds will be offered or agreed to in the following circumstances:
- The product arrives in damaged condition and the customer does not wish to pursue a warranty claim or have a replacement cover shipped.
- An incorrect cover type or size was shipped by the supplier in error, and the customer declines to have a replacement cover shipped.
- Caravan Cover Shop made an incorrect size recommendation after prior consultation with the customer (where correct measurements were provided), and the customer elects to receive a refund instead of a replacement.
In all such cases, Caravan Cover Shop will cover the cost of return shipping and will make arrangements for courier collection and return (refer to our ‘Shipping Policy’ for full details).
All refunds will be returned to the original method of payment.
2. When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- The customer selected the wrong size without prior consultation and wishes to return the product.
- The customer changed their mind after receiving the correct item in undamaged condition.
- Incorrect measurements were supplied by the customer, which led to the wrong cover size being shipped.
- Delays or disruptions to freight services caused frustration or inconvenience.
In these cases, we can offer an exchange (see our Returns Policy). Refunds will not be issued unless otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law.
3. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at info@caravancovershop.com.au or use our Contact Us page.
- Include your Name, Order Number, and a full Description of your concern.
- Attach relevant Photos and/or Video (e.g. product damage, packaging issues).
We will then arrange courier collection of the item at the earliest possible time. A courier consignment label will be provided and must be printed and attached to the return packaging. Please remove or cover any old address labels.
Refunds can only be issued after the returned item has been received in its original, unopened condition (unless faulty or damaged).
4. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described.
