When buying a cover for a camper trailer, knowing the EXTERNAL METRIC length measurement is essential to ensure you choose the correct cover size.

Some Owner Manuals and online manufacturer websites refer to INTERNAL length dimensions,
which may lead you to select a cover size that is too short.

Your camper trailer might also have certain accessories fitted in such a way it prevents a cover from being fitted to the main body paneling, i.e. storage box / spare wheel etc.

If this is the case for you it may mean you need a longer cover than you first thought.

All Samson Camper Trailer Covers have been manufactured in 2-feet incremental sizes as follows:

Sizing in Feet and Metres:

10'-12' (Bottom Length 4.00m / Width 2.25m / Height 1.09m)

12'-14' (Bottom Length 4.60m / Width 2.25m / Height 1.09m) 

14'-16' (Bottom Length 5.20m / Width 2.25m / Height 1.09m) 

TIP: Ideally the cover you choose should allow an extra 150mm-200mm additional length over and above your Camper Trailer's bottom length. This ensures the cover is not too tight-fitting, and it makes it easier when fitting / removing the cover.

Notes regarding the above:

- the cover's Length measurement refers to the Camper Trailer's bottom length, i.e. the measurement along the bottom of the main body from front to rear excluding drawbar.

- the cover's Height measurement refers to the distance from the base of the Camper Trailer to the roof-line. These covers are designed to be tied underneath the camper trailer at the base using the available securing straps and do not go to ground.

- if you have to cover additional accessories i.e. gas bottles / storage compartments / stone guards / spare wheels / bike racks etc, always place additional soft padding between these areas and the cover. Doing this will protect the cover by preventing unwanted rubbing / abrasion caused by movement in windy conditions.

Once ordered please note picking, packing and shipment of a Samson cover generally takes no more than 2-3 business days.

Once the cover has been shipped you can expect to receive tracking details by email. This email will contain a link to the freight company website, where you will usually find a delivery ETA displayed.
