When you're in a rush packing up a camper trailer, tent, or caravan, a common problem is for campers to pack away their canvas products before they are fully dry, or store them in a damp location for an extended period of time.
This often results in mould growth on the canvas, which is difficult to remove and can leave stains, (and it can also present a health risk if left untreated).
Fortunately, there is a solution!
Introducing 'Canvas Magic Mould Remover', a concentrated mould removing formula that requires no scrubbing.
To use, follow these instructions:
- combine the entire 4L of Canvas Magic Mould Remover concentrate with 6L of water to make 10L of combined solution and mix well
- for smaller applications, tip some of the mixed amount into a spray bottle, or for larger applications use a pump-up weed spray bottle
- ensure the area to be treated is well-ventilated and spray the dry mould from close range
- wait 15 minutes for the mould to disappear, repeating the process if necessary until all mould is gone
- rinse down with water to remove any residual chemicals and allow your canvas to dry thoroughly
- as a precaution, always perform a small colourfast patch test in a hidden area before using Canvas Magic Mould Remover, as it is a chemical product
- for full instructions, please refer to the label on the bottle
Note: It is recommended to re-waterproof after putting any chemical on the exterior of your canvas. 'Canvas Magic Waterproofer' is highly recommended for this (see further below for a link to this product).
